Game of Thrones Season 3 FX - How Dragons Were Born

"Game of Thrones" filming crew sure takes a lot of effort to actually decorate and make the sets real rather than make it all CGI, as we found out a few weeks back. But the dragons and massive armies though? It all looks as real as it can get, too.

Pixomondo surely made a really great job with that, and the newest FX reel for "Game of Thrones" season 3 shows how Daenerys's dragons evolved layer by layer from a tennis ball on a stick. Additionally, those final shots of the "Mhysa" episode are illusions as well, with Dany's thousands of Unsullied copied multiple times.

Christina Hendricks wants to join Game of Thrones

We’ll need a bit of water to wash down all the salt fanboys should take this one with, but Christina Hendricks on HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones‘? We want to go to there. The ‘Mad Men‘ actress kept up the notorious secrecy surrounding the AMC drama, but recently opened up about her post-’Mad Men’ plans, which include a desire to make the trip to ‘Homeland‘ or HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones,’ assuming the old gods and the new smile upon us.

“I want to be on ‘Homeland’ because I love the suspense of it,” Hendricks told The Hollywood Reporter of her ideal casts to join. “But I also want to be on ‘Game of Thrones.’ I want to wear pelts and horns and ride around on horseback.” We want those things for you too, Christina.

Of course, ‘Game of Thrones’ has already begun production on its fourth season, and last we checked, there weren’t all-too-many redhead bombshell roles left, but I'm pretty sure they could figure something out, I mean, topless horseback riding, it has to happen!
